CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Hip Hop Cardio
Virtual and In-Studio | Pershing
Students will learn new moves and elevate their mood with this vibrant, dance cardio experience. Hip Hop Cardio provides a full-body workout that balances endurance building and muscle strengthening through hip-hop-inspired movement.
All Levels - Modification options - Medium to High Impact
Focus: Med-high impact cardiovascular endurance, whole-body coordination, improved memory with combination memorization
What you will need: Sneakers, fitness leggings/shorts/pants, and a comfortable top.
Dance Fitness
In-Studio Only | Pershing
Dance Fitness accommodates all fitness levels for a dance-inspired workout for both the body and the brain. Students will experience an elevated heart rate through various dance combinations (much like Zumba or Jazzercise) resulting in increased stamina, balance, and coordination.
All Levels - Modification options - Low Impact
Focus: Low impact cardiovascular endurance, whole-body coordination, and improved memory with combination memorization.
What you will need: Sneakers, fitness leggings/shorts/pants, and a comfortable top.
GYROKINESIS

The Gyrokinesis Method is a sequence-based movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. Focus: Complete body balance, efficient and healthy breathing, access to spinal motions, core strength
What you will need: Socks or bare-feet, fitness legging/pants, and a comfortable top. The Gyrokinesis Method is practiced on a mat and chair without equipment. Virtual Experience: Bring a mat and a sturdy chair.

Pilates Mat: levels 1 & 2
Virtual and In-Studio | Clayton & Pershing
Level 1: Movement fundamentals and fun variations in an hour of beginner-level Pilates mat work! Pilates Mat 1 uses bodyweight exercises to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and posture. Students will complete class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated for the day.
Level 2: Experience the Classical Pilates Mat sequence in an energetic, renewed way! Pilates Mat 2 challenges intermediate/advanced students to improve their technique, strength, and agility. Props are used to add variation to the class in addition to the bodyweight exercises found in mat work.
